The main surface treatments are electric galvanizing, hot-dip zinc plating, PVC coated.
Galvanized weld products are made by dipping previously welded mesh into a bath of molten zinc. The entire fence or mesh, including the welded areas, is thoroughly sealed and protected against rust and corrosion.
PVC coated wire mesh is coated with a thick layer of PVC which is tightly bonded to the wire by a heat process. The coating is flexible and will not crack when the wire is bent. They have double protection. Not only does the vinyl coating seal the wire from water and other corrosive elements, but the underlying mesh is also protected by a zinc coating.
Stainless steel welded wire mesh is strong and long lasting. By its very nature stainless steel wire needs no additional finish, such as galvanizing or PVC, to protect it.
Welded Wire Mesh Materials:
Mild steel wire
Stainless steel wire
Galvanized steel wire
Hot-dipped zinc plating iron wire
Welded Wire Mesh Feature:
Welded wire mesh enjoys excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, long lasting and rust resistant.
Welded wire mesh is stable over a wide temperature range, maintaining its qualities in extremes of both hot and cold.
Galvanized weld is very strong and durable.
The coating is very resistant to scraping and abrasion.
Welded Wire Mesh Application:
Welded wire mesh is extensively used as decoration and machinery protection material in agriculture, construction, transport, mine, sports field, lawn and various industrial fields.
Smaller meshes made with lighter gauge wires are ideal for making cages for small animals.
The heavier gauges and meshes with larger openings make good fences.
